Mother's Day!

I have been meaning to post about many different things but haven't had a lot of time so there will be a few posts today!

First I will start with Saturday!! In the morning we worked on our flower beds and the girls helped us! It was a fun morning! That evening we went to a birthday party at Harry Myers Splash Park!! Here are a few pics....







Mother's Day this year was AWESOME!!!! My hubby and my kids did great!!!

I wake up to the smell of eggs and bacon but I stayed in bed resting and enjoying the WONDERFUL smell of the house. :)
Then all of the sudden this VERY LOUD ANNOYING SOUND fills the house....it's the smoke alarm so I lay there for a few more seconds thinking David will turn it off, finally I get up to see if I can go help him out. I open my bedroom door the lots of smoke!! He comes around the corner and says "I tried to turn it off" so I go and try and no finally get it to turn off after like 5 minutes. He said "I hate cooking bacon" I know he does but still thought he was so sweet to try for me. My sister had spent the night with us because she was going to church with us and he said I was trying to make both of yall breakfast in bed. Sorry! We both laughed and said it was fine. I know he felt bad and I felt bad for him. He tried very hard so he gets MAJOR hubby points for that. And isn't it so sweet that he was going to do it for my sister too?!? I love that man, he is just awesome!!! So instead of in bed we all ate breakfast together and it was awesome! We get ready for church and go to church, then we met my mom at Texas Land and Cattle for lunch. It was a nice lunch. Then we went home and relaxed for the rest of the day. It was a great day!!
